| Home : Health Communication Conferences The ACP Foundation conducts annual national health communication conferences, convening panels of experts from all levels of the health care system to address issues in health communication. After each conference, the Foundation publishes a report summarizing the key messages for broad distribution. Each conference is evaluated by participants in order to assist the Foundation in designing the topic and format of the next conference and identifying potential Health Communication Initiative projects.November 22, 2010 Invitational Conference The American College of Physicians Foundation is collaborating with the Institute of Medicine's Roundtable on Health Literacy to host an invitational conference to address the impact of low health literacy on health care quality. The meeting is co-sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the National Quality Forum, and the CIGNA Foundation. An Executive Summary, sponsored by MetLife Foundation, will be available in early 2011.
